The stay here was very very good in beautiful town. Staff were excellent, room was big and huge with a fan. The location was favourable and stunning as for me, just off the restaurant for both Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas night, Germany, and all the main shops. The place was easy walk to Restaurant Mundart, where you can have dinner.

Travelled with my family members, overall the hotel was stunningly beautiful. The location was marvellous, close to Oberammergau Tourism. Was in a pretty area and near restaurants and pubs. The service was great, no complaints. Besides, I could easily park onsite. I had a really great stay in a long time.

Nice modern room in a beautiful city.
Motion sensors were used to turn on lights in the room. If you get up at night they automatically turn on waking your spouse. Then they turn off when you are going to the bathroom blinding you as you finish and begin to get out and turn on again when you get to the hall outside the bath, again, disturbing your sleeping partner. I suggest pulling those sensors.

Price was right; central within Oberammergau and shopping/restaurents in easy walking distance; good breakfast selection which was included in the price; room spacious
Regrettably, the shower door seal was broken and it was impossible to shower without making a major mess on the bathroom floor. Staff indicated that parts were ordered but had not yet arrived --- somewhat of an incovenience. Food (taste) at he hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner was marginal.

The room and decor were beautifully designed. Comfortable bed and large en suite bathroom. Good sound insulation between rooms. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
Our only problem with hotel policy was that although we were on a 'no smoking' floor, smoking is allowed on balconies, meaning that if we opened our windows or went out on our balcony, smoke would come into the room from smokers on the balcony next door.

Marvelous location, clean and well run hotel right in the middle of town. The kitchen was great and had some of the best beer from our trip to Germany. Fantastic breakfast in the morning. Can't wait too go back

Right in the middle of town, the olde worlde exterior belies the super- modern bedrooms. Breakfast was well laid out, with typical Bavarian fare of cold meats and sliced cheese selection & boiled eggs, with a good choice of German breads & rolls. Picture windows overlooking painted buildings a delight. A terrific reminder of where you are, with towering mountains in the background. Staff particularly friendly. Would recommend.
Beautiful refurbished rooms have odd bathroom set-up, with loos in the elongated shower cubicle. Had to wipe down after shower so we could use the loo. Interesting design - maybe our room lacked the space to have it anywhere else. Rooms looked terrific, but would warn designer to use properly treated wood. I am hyper-sensitive to all essential oils.

This hotel is located in the very center of Oberammergau, staff is friendly and speaks English, room was big and clean, plenty of food for breakfast and good meals in the restaurant during the dinner time. Free parking for guests in the backyard. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
